I have always been interested in foreign languages. I think it started when we studied a priests life who taught himself five different language. Since then, I swore that I will teach myself a language or two.
In college, I took Japanese classes and I learned Hiragana Katakana. I learned how to read but not speak it. I gave up Japanese because I need more than just a Japanese subject for one semester to learn the language.
So I bought workbooks and self-studied Spanish because it's the closest to our language since our ancestors share Latin roots. I think I know basic Spanish but I stopped when I started working in the call center industry.
I have never really practiced what I've learned before but I became fluent in English. I now work as a part-time English tutor for Korean students. I like what I'm doing and maybe this time I have to learn Korean too.
